Operating Room / Surgical Travel RN

• tProvide patients with perioperative care in recovery, procedure, and operating rooms.
• tEnsure operating room is sterilized and prepared with all necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• tMonitor patient’s vitals and report adverse reactions in a timely manner.
• tDevelop and implement patient care plans for surgical patients.
• tAdminister medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
• tIf necessary, respond to medical emergency and alert appropriate team members.
• tFlexibility to travel to the assignment location.
• tAvailability to work the facility’s required schedule.
• tWillingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
• tAbility to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
• tAlso referred to as : operating room registered nurse, surgical nurse, scrub nurse, circulate nurse.

Job Requirements :

• t1+ year of surgical experience as an Operating Room nurse
• tGraduate from an accredited nursing school
• tCurrent state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
• tBLS certification required
• tMay require ACLS certification
