Responsibilities :
As a Virtual School SLP, you'll have the opportunity to work with diverse caseloads, covering :
- Elementary, Middle, and High School Students : Customizing speech and language therapy sessions to address the distinct needs of students across different developmental stages.
- Individual and Group Sessions : Conducting personalized therapy sessions and orchestrating group activities to foster communication skills and social interaction.
- Evaluation and Progress Monitoring : Administering comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders, monitoring progress, and adapting therapy plans as needed.
- Collaboration : Collaborating closely with educators, parents, and other educational professionals to bolster students' academic and social success.
- Documentation : Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
Requirements :
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
Valid state licensure as an SLP
Minimum of two years of experience working as an SLP in educational settings
