Job Details for Material Handler :

• Location : Rockford, MN
• Shift : 1st , Must have Forklift Experience
• Schedule : 7 : 00AM - 3 : 30PM Monday - Friday
• Pay Rate : $20 / hour - $22 / Hour (Based on experience)

Job Responsibilities & Description for Material Handler :

• Promote Safety as the Number 1 priority of all employees.
• Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved.
• Properly load and / or unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Safely convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
• Count, weigh, and / or record units of materials moved as required.
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials as instructed.
• Remove and correctly store excess skids, pans, and bulk boxes.
• Perform preventative maintenance as required.
• Maintain a neat and well-organized work area.
• Other duties as directed by the Group Leader or Supervisor.

Job Requirements for Material Handler :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and work orders.
• Basic mathematical skills and familiarity with using a calculator and scales.
• PC skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems preferred.
• Forklift certified and capable of operating a fork truck safely in a congested environment.
• Team-oriented with a hands-on approach.
• Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
