Responsibilities
- AWS Infrastructure Management : Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, and security
- Automation : Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible
- Monitoring and Optimization : Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
Continuously optimize AWS resources to improve cost-efficiency
- Security : Implement and maintain security best practices for AWS environments, including IAM policies, network security, and encryption
- Collaboration : Collaborate with software development teams to integrate CI / CD pipelines, facilitate rapid deployment, and ensure code quality
- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure, processes, and best practices
- Troubleshooting : Investigate and resolve complex system issues, troubleshoot network problems, and provide technical support as needed
- Capacity Planning : Assess resource utilization and plan for capacity scaling based on business needs
- Stay Current : Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, trends, and best practices, and recommend improvements to the existing infrastructure
Requirements :
- 5-7 years of experience as AWS Cloud or DevOps Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Advance coding skills in multiple languages like Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript etc.
- AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
- Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, ECS, and CloudWatch.
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus.
- Solid understanding of CI / CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and performance optimization in AWS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Compensation :
- $160,000 to $180,000 annual salary, depending on experience.
- 10% bonus opportunity
