Job Summary :
The Lab Quality and MLS ProgramDirector will be responsible for overseeing theMedical Laboratory Science program ensuring compliance withaccreditation standards and serving as the Safety Officer for theDepartment of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology Services.
This rolecombines leadership administration and technical expertise toadvance healthcare education and laboratory quality.
Key Duties & Responsibilities :
- Organize administer and evaluate the Medical LaboratoryScience program in accordance with NAACLS accreditationstandards
- Appoint faculty coordinate programreviews and updates and process admissions applications
- Serve as liaison between the program andacademic / clinical affiliates
- Oversee programfaculty instructors and students
- Grantcertificates of program completion and maintain records
- Prepare budgets and ensure general effectiveness of theprogram
- Serve as Safety Officer for theDepartment of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology Services
Qualifications : I. Education :

Masters Degreerequired
II.Experience :
- 25 yearsof relevant experience in laboratory science and education
- Management experiencerequired
III.License(s) / Certification(s) :
ASCPBOCor ASCPBOC generalist certification as Medical LaboratoryScientist / Medical Technologist required

- Strong leadership organizational and communicationskills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Officeapplications
- Knowledge of medical terminologyand laboratory procedures
- Analytical andstrategic thinking capabilities
