Sensor Systems Engineer, Senior
The Opportunity :
Are you searching for a position where you can use your engineering and science experience to support complex Navy and Marine Corps sensor systems?
You will conduct engineering, analysis, and design for Navy sensors including Radar and Electro-Optical Infrared (EO / IR) systems.
You will apply advanced technical knowledge and expertise of practices and principles necessary to evaluate advanced sensor systems concepts, assess specifications, and perform system integration.
You will develop innovative solutions to complex problems, work without considerable direction, mentor, and may supervise team members.

You Have :
- 5+ years of experience in complex radar or EO / IR system engineering, design, analysis, and specification development
- Experience in complex Radar or EO / IR system software requirement definition and allocation
- Knowledge of practices and principles to assess advanced sensor systems concepts, assess specifications, and perform system integration
- Ability to perform detailed and complex calculations
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics
Nice if you have :
- Experience with a variety of Navy / USMC Radar and EO / IR systems
- Experience providing artifacts and inputs for certification and verification of Sensor Systems in accordance with Navy identified processes
- Experience developing test and evaluation documentation, which include testing plans, laboratory testing documents, new technology evaluation documents, usability engineering documents, and laboratory testing of sensor test articles developed by the product design agent
- Experience conducting research and supporting the coordination, planning, and execution of evaluation activities to include performing assessment and integration testing, site acceptance testing, and other evaluation activities
- Top Secret clearance
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
