Mount Carmel Health System has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for an experienced Physician Assistant to join our Critical Care team located in Columbus, Ohio.
The selected candidate will provide acute healthcare services for specialty health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
This position will practice in the ICU rotating between our three main campuses. They will work a night shift / rotating schedule, 12-hour days.
Requirements / Qualifications :
- Education : Physician Assistant program.
- Licensure / Certification : Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio
- BLS provider certification required
- ACLS, EFM and PALs required for some departments.
- Holds a DEA license for controlled substances or ability to obtain as required
- Experience : Minimum of two years recent and relevant experience preferred
- Effective Communication Skills
