About The Position
Job Title : Mammography Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - Mammography Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 30 - 16 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Not specified License : Valid permanent California license required.
Temporary licensure not accepted. Certifications : Check job description for specifics Must-Have : COVID-19 Vaccine required + Booster, Flu Vaccine requiredJob Description : - Work Monday through Friday with weekend rotations.
- Shift hours may vary depending on department needs.- Responsibilities include screening and diagnostic mammography (2D and 3D), wire localizations, radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies.
- Floating to different departments within the main campus as needed.- On-call is not required.- Expected to handle an approximate daily caseload of 150.
- Willingness to be flexible and float within the hospital as needed.- New Hire Orientation scheduling is firm; no requested time off within the first two weeks of start date.
- Previous permanent employees must be gone 24 months before being eligible for travel positions across specific facilities.
Note : Epic charting is highly preferred. Return staff policy and licensing / background hits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
