About the Role
As a Landscape Sales / Designer, you will design and sell custom, high-end residential landscape projects. You’ll play a critical role in translating client vision into functional and visually compelling outdoor environments. We’re looking for someone with strong design and technical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Chicago area plant materials and construction elements.
Responsibilities
- Design, sell, and develop high-end residential landscapes from concept through construction
- Produce accurate and detailed landscape plans and construction documents
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients throughout the design and build process
- Maintain and apply knowledge of Illinois native and adaptive plants, materials, and sustainable design principles
- Adhere to company design standards and project timelines
- Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Dynascape to communicate ideas and finalize designs
- Contribute to company innovation, efficiency, and client satisfaction
Requirements
Proven experience designing high-end residential landscapesStrong knowledge of local plant species and hardscape designAbility to independently develop and complete landscape design drawingsSkilled in AutoCAD, & Dynascape (or similar design software)Familiar with landscape drafting standards and best practicesBachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or equivalent professional experienceExcellent organizational and communication skillsSelf-starter with a growth mindset and attention to detailCompensation & Benefits
