A hospital is currently seeking to add an Occupational Therapist to join their team full time!Check out the details below :
Title : Occupational Therapist
Job Type : Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting : Inpatient & NICU
Location : Fairbanks, Alaska
Schedule : No set schedule but typically M F, 40 hrs / wk with 10 hr day shifts
Pay : Competitive rate plus relocation, housing assistance, and sign-on bonus!
The Occupational Therapist’s duties to include but not be limited to :
- Evaluates patient’s functional abilities and limitations and establish plan of care / treatment goals
- Implements individualized treatment plan and provides skilled treatment in a safe manner
- Documents according to standards set by the department and regulatory agencies
- Communicates patient information and progress to physicians, nurses, patient, family / caregiver, etc.
- Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, and regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Other job duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS :
- AK Occupational Therapy license
- BLS certification
- 1 year experience as an OT in an acute care setting required
- Recent significant specialty care experience in inpatient NICU and pediatric care (certification preferred)
