As a 2nd Shift CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality precision parts.
You will work with a variety of materials and use different machining techniques to produce parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Select and load cutting tools, fixtures, and materials into the machines
- Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced within tight tolerances and specifications
- Make adjustments and perform maintenance on machines as needed
- Perform quality control checks on finished parts using precision measuring tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and efficiency
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines
- Experience with Fanuc or Haas controls preferred
- Strong understanding of machining techniques and processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to work on the 2nd shift (3 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM)
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
