Baldwin Emergency Physicians, located on Alabama's Gulf Coast, is recruiting providers to staff North Baldwin Infirmary.
The incoming physician will practice in Bay Minette, AL which is located in the upper portion of Baldwin County, AL in Mobile Bay area.
North Baldwin Infirmary is a 78 bed hospital with 5 bed ICU. Approximately 16,000 / Year patient volume (44 Pts / day) in a 13 bed ED.

North Baldwin Infirmary is part of Infirmary Health System, a large 3 hospital system with the other two hospitals accepting transfers.

Staffing is 24 hour physician single covered with mixture of 12-8 hour shifts. APP staffing 10 hours / day. Moderate to lower acuity patient population.
Low admission rate of 11.5%. Overall average of 1.82 patients per hour including patients supervised with mid-level provider.
Averaging 1 Pt / hr after midnight.
Stroke, Nephrology, Critical Care Telemedicine programs in place. Innovative "Cardiac Stat" program to treat STEMI pts with immediate transfer to tertiary hospitals in system for PCI.
Geriatric Psychiatric unit on premises. Hospitalist service does admissions and is available in house 8A-5P. On call for admissions after that
Part-time or full-time employee positions available. Immediate Scheduling Equity. Hourly pay as independent contractor equivalent $215 / hour for day shifts, $225 / hour for night shifts.
