Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse for our mental health facility. This position involves providing compassionate care to patients with psychiatric disorders across various specialized units. The role requires strong assessment skills and the ability to develop individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' mental health status and recognize signs of psychiatric disorders.
• Develop individualized care plans tailored to the needs of patients.
• Administer psychiatric medications, monitor for side effects, and manage medication administration.
• Provide crisis intervention and utilize de-escalation techniques in high-stress situations.
• Engage in therapeutic communication to build trust and rapport with patients.
• Monitor patients for physical and psychological symptoms, including vital signs and mental status changes.
