- Direct / develop integrated marketing plan for Decentralized Finance (DeFi) vertical to drive user / community adoption
- Drive awareness, education, experience, discovery and adoption of FinTech / DeFi dApps and Subnets on the Avalanche platform
- Create depth and frequency of engagement with seasoned Web 3 users while creating a frictionless on-ramp for new users
- Own top of funnel awareness projects and brand policies, mid-funnel analysis / consideration and bottom of funnel acquisition / conversion
- Create reporting metrics with regard to financial impact / outcomes of spend allocation
- Define growth goals and KPIs
- Oversee DeFi Growth Marketing team's P / L
- Establish team processes as a hands on leader, strategist and individual contributor

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 8+ years of performance marketing or product marketing with a focus on user acquisition and / or growth; preferably within a consumer technology organization
- Expert level understanding of fintech products / services, major DeFi primitives, dApps, and how users engage with relevant products / communities
- Prior experience working in high growth startups or rapidly developing industries
- Track record of success in a marketing leadership and strategist role
- Ability to create an integrated marketing and delegation plan while executing with cross functional leadership teams
- Proven ability to design / lead user acquisition channel and attribution framework projects
- Successful track record of marketing products for web3 end users
- Project management and the ability to lead through influence, not authority
