Position Overview
We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Manager who can oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our public cloud infrastructure.
You will be responsible for managing a team of cloud engineers, ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud infrastructure, and collaborating with other teams and stakeholders across the organization.
You will also be involved in strategic planning, budgeting, and innovation initiatives for our cloud management. This role is remote in the US, with a preference for Michigan.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to a team of cloud engineers, setting clear objectives, providing coaching and feedback, and supporting career development
Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions
Lead the implementation of cloud infrastructure projects, including the provisioning, configuration, and optimization of cloud resources
Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and performance requirements
Implement cost management strategies, such as rightsizing instances, leveraging reserved instances, and optimizing storage
Implement security controls and compliance measures to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance
Oversee the day-to-day operations of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, availability, and performance
Research and evaluate new cloud technologies and trends, proposing improvements and innovations for our cloud strategy
Manage cloud spend and optimize costs, ensuring efficient use of cloud resources and alignment with budget and financial goals
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Manager, or similar managerial role
Extensive experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud) and cloud infrastructure technologies
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Experience in cloud spend management and cost optimization, with knowledge of tools and techniques for monitoring and controlling cloud costs
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in cloud technologies, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, etc. are preferred

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $133,000 and $215,270.
Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
