Senior Cloud Developer

Location : Remote (Must reside within driving distance of the metro Atlanta area and visit the office once a week)

Our client is seeking a visionary Senior Cloud Developer to revolutionize cloud-based application development and lead a digital transformation.

Your Mission :

As a leader in the realm of application development, you will :

• Transform IT Culture : In your first 100 days, help transition the team out of an old-school IT mentality and into a cloud-enabled, innovative mindset.
• Architect the Future : Spearhead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge applications using Azure Cloud services, setting industry standards for best practices.
• Enable the Cloud : Lead initiatives to migrate from AX to Dynamics 365, focusing on ERP digitization and the implementation of real-time operational PowerBI dashboards.
• DevOps Maestro : Define and implement seamless DevOps processes using Azure DevOps, promoting automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
• Data Governance Champion : Establish a robust data governance program, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Collaborative Visionary : Partner with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and subject matter experts, to transform requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
• UI / UX Innovator : Develop and maintain front-end user interfaces using the latest frameworks and technologies, ensuring an exceptional user experience and accessibility for all.
• Backend Architect : Design and implement backend components with containerized architectures, microservices, and serverless functions, ensuring our systems are as robust as they are innovative.
• Code Virtuoso : Contribute hands-on to application development with high-quality, maintainable code. Participate in code reviews to uphold our standards of excellence.
• Team Leader : Manage a dynamic team of developers, both locally and remotely, fostering an environment of collaboration and growth.
• Security Guardian : Implement security best practices to safeguard our applications, including secure coding, data encryption, and access controls.
• Performance Optimizer : Conduct performance testing, optimization, and monitoring to ensure our applications run at peak efficiency and reliability.
• Tech Trendsetter : Stay ahead of the curve by staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, driving their adoption within our team.

Your Toolkit :

• Educational Foundation : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Seasoned Expert : Minimum of 8 years in application development, with a focus on Azure Cloud services and containerized architectures.
• DevOps Pro : Strong understanding of Azure DevOps, with experience in defining and deploying DevOps processes.
• Automation Enthusiast : Demonstrated ability to drive automation in development.
• Programming Proficiency : Expertise in languages like C#, Java, or Python, and front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Architecture Aficionado : Understanding of Pub / Sub message broker design architectures.
• DevOps Guru : Solid grasp of DevOps principles, practices, and tools, including Git, CI / CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Containerization Specialist : Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud Innovator : Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless functions.
• Data Governance Advocate : Experience establishing and maintaining a solid data governance program.
• Analytical Thinker : Strong problem-solving skills to break down complex requirements into clear technical solutions.
• Effective Communicator : Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in cross-functional teams.
• Lifelong Learner : Passion for continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
