ABOUT THE ROLE :

As a Field Recruiter at Local Kitchens, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top kitchen talent to meet the growing needs of our restaurants.

You will focus your efforts on recruiting stellar General Managers and ensuring that our restaurants are fully staffed with the best hourly Kitchen Team Members.

This position will require occasional travel to various locations to understand the local labor market, to build relationships with General Managers, and to represent our company at job fairs and recruitment events.

ABOUT YOU :

  • Develop and execute recruiting plans to efficiently and effectively fill open Kitchen Team Member positions. GMs own hourly recruiting and you own the strategy.
  • Own New Restaurant Openings recruiting
  • Own full cycle GM and Kitchen Manager recruiting. Sourcing, interviewing, and closing.
  • Conduct regular visits to our restaurant locations to assess staffing needs and develop local recruitment strategies.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential General Manager candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
  • Conduct, screenings, and interviews and participate in the selection process to ensure hires meet our standards for excellence in guest service and culinary skills.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Area Managers to understand the skills and competencies required for restaurant operations.
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong employer brand presence in key locations.
  • Manage communications with candidates from the initial contact point to the final hiring decision.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to hiring and recruitment.
  • Utilize social media and job boards to conduct employment advertising, recruitment, and hiring.
  • Light help with corporate interview scheduling
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards / newspapers / colleges, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in the restaurant / food service industry.
  • Experience with modern Applicant Tracking Systems such as Ashby or Workstream.
  • Extensive experience with LinkedIn and Indeed for sourcing candidates.
  • Experience with high-volume recruiting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel to various restaurant locations and recruitment events.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in using social media and job boards for recruitment.
  • We are an in-office culture and come into the office 5 days / week.
  • Bonus : light data reporting ability
