As an Entry Level Litigation Attorney at our firm, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with various aspects of litigation cases.
We welcome candidates with 0-3 years of experience in any of the practice areas mentioned above, and we also consider applicants with experience in all areas of litigation.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to ongoing cases.
- Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
- Assist with case preparation, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations under the supervision of senior attorneys.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies as needed.
- Participate in case strategy meetings and contribute ideas for case advancement.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective case management and client satisfaction.
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of Alabama (or willingness to obtain admission promptly).
- Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated interest in litigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience in personal injury law or related litigation is preferred but not required.
