We are a growing structural engineering firm seeking engineers. The candidate must have a minimum of a B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited 4 year program with a focus in structural engineering.
Candidates that have passed the EI exam are preferred. Our firm's practice utilizes a variety of building materials and includes design of new buildings, renovations and component design.
We are seeking someone who is looking to grow with the company and accept expanding responsibilities.
The basic duties include the following :
1) Prepare design calculations for projects using material and state codes.
2) Structural analysis of projects using a variety of analysis software.
3) Model structures and create structural framing plans, sections, and details using Revit.
4) Visit sites to assist in documenting and measuring existing framing conditions.
5) Meet with clients and other consultants to coordinate the structural design work for projects.
6) Design components of buildings such as light gauge framing, aluminum composite panels, architectural precast and steel connections.
Designing these elements include preparing calculations and drawings.
