We are currently seeking an Infection Control RN for our facility in the Newark, NJ area. If you are looking for a role you can help the community residents improve the quality of their lives to reflect individual God-given dignity and personal achievement, this position may be for you.

Responsibilities :

• Review and keep policies updated
• Monitor and ensure infection prevention is being done
• Plan, develop, organize, evaluate, coordinate and direct infection control program
• Ensure facility follows current CDC, OSHA and local regulations
• Assist in maintaining infection control precautions and aseptic techniques are followed

Experience :

• Infection control in long term positions
• Minimum three years of nursing experience
• Familiar with long term care rules and regulations
• Dealing with both state and federal regulations

Requirements :

• RN licensure, B.S. preferred
• Must understand infection control
• Must understand the importance of vaccines

Additional Details :

• Needs to be flexible, able to work core hours
• Occasional weekend work may be required depending on needs
• No on call responsibilities, unless there is an emergency
• Very competitive hourly wage with benefits - 53 / hour

Pay Details : 53.00 per hour
