Sentara Health is currently seeking an Administrative Associate for the Labor and Delivery Unit at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.

Hours / Shift : Full-Time, Rotating Shifts (working 12-hour shifts on Days, Evenings, and Night Shift).

Position Overview :

As an Administrative Associate with Sentara, you will provide administrative support t o the unit / department(s) you are assigned to.

You will serve as the first point of contact for patients, family members and visitors coming into the unit. The Administrative Associate position requires the application of excellent customer service skills as well as computer and clerical skills.

Education Required :

High School Diploma

Experience Required :

• One year of previous work experience in a medical office OR
• One year or more of previous work experience in customer service OR
• One year or more of previous work experience in a call center OR
• One year or more of previous clerical experience OR
• Associate or bachelor's level degree.

Job Summary
