  • Location : Albemarle, NC 28001 (North Carolina travel nursing jobs)\n
  • Unit : Medical / Surgical & Telemetry (35 beds, average census 22)\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (8 / 25 / 2025 – 11 / 22 / 2025)\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed\n
  • Weekend Rotation : Every other weekend\n
  • Holiday Coverage : 75% of holidays required\n
  • Scrub Color : Navy\n
  • Free Onsite Parking \n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570–$1680 per week\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state)\n
  • Minimum 18 months of recent Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience\n
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required\n
  • Strong clinical skills in post-op care, orthopedic nursing, TPN / PPN, stroke care, chest tube management, PIV starts, trach care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, NGT placement, drain / tube management, PCA pumps, wound care, and medication gtt management (including cardiac drips, heparin, blood products, IVF)\n
  • Experience with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Phillips monitors preferred\n
  • Willingness to float within the region (Med / Tele, ICU, PCU, ED, and other healthcare facilities as needed)\n
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to patient-centered care\n

    • \n\nTravel Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to diverse Med / Surg and Telemetry patients, including those with stroke, CHF, COPD, respiratory illnesses, diabetes, post-surgical needs, and behavioral health concerns\n
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and document accurately in EPIC EMR\n
  • Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor cardiac rhythms in a fast-paced hospital environment\n
  • Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams\n
  • Float to other units and healthcare facilities within the region as required, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism\n
  • Contribute to a supportive team culture focused on patient safety, clinical excellence, and positive outcomes\n
