Job Responsibilities :
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to the agile project team tasked with migrating MOVEit jobs to Snowflake.
- Implement codified and repeatable migration patterns for different complexity Jobs from MOVEit to Snowflake. Extract, transform, and load logic to automate data collection and manage data processes / pipelines including data quality and monitoring
- Design and build the migration factory with codified scripts and common plugins for accelerating / automating migration of jobs.
- Performs problem analysis for migration of complex configurations from MOVEit to Snowflake.
- Performs complex installation, configuration, customization and tuning. Provides input on answers to technical questions and problems while adhering to standards and procedures.
- Assists in strategic planning and architecture and design. Makes recommendations on functional and business requirements.

Skills and Experience Required :
Required :
- 5+ years of Data Architecture / Data Warehousing experience
- Expert knowledge of Snowflake with more than three (3) years of hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Exposure to Data warehousing and various ingestion patterns from multiple sources.
- Good hands-on experience in Snowflake migration projects with good understanding of Snowflake architecture and building pipelines for ingestion
- Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using snowpipe, implementing stored procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts
- Expertise in Snowflake concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features
- Experience in Data Migration to Snowflake cloud data warehouse
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics
- Experience or strong knowledge of communication and data handling protocols (AS2, PGP / GPG, S / MIME, HTTPS, FTPS / SFTP / SCP / OFTP, POP3 / SMTP, Web Services / SOAP / REST, WebDAV, etc.)
- Experience or strong knowledge of industry data standards (ACH, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA, RosettaNet, SWIFT, TRADCOMS, etc.)
- Experience with .Net / Java based frameworks and solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise database technologies like Oracle RAC, DB2, and MS SQL Server Enterprise
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls and security standards.
- Experience working in financial services industry preferred.
Education :
Bachelor s Degree or higher in Computer Science, or related field.
