Department : Health Science Store - Operations
Days / Hours :
12-15 hrs / wk; Mon-Fri 8am-6pm. Occasional weekend shifts to support larger department operations. Duties : Team player, hardworking, dedicated, and enthusiastic ready and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment! Execute key components in online order processing and shipping as well as inventory management and customer service and supporting the needs of the team including :
- Inbound : Ensure timely and accurate verification of shipments, sort, and organization on rack / shelves
- Outbound : Pick, pack, ship small parcels in a timely manner
- Return : Sort, check, restock the returned items
- Inventory management : Maintain stock organization and stock merchandise on the sales floor, labeling items, cycle count, maintaining shipping materials, etc.
- Assist in preparing and developing necessary SOP's for receiving processes and safety
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Delivering products throughout the UCLA campus.
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks / projects.
Product knowledge and training will be provided. Provide general operational support to other store departments Requirements :
Self-starter with strong attention to detail and desire to learn who can prioritize and adapt quickly to changing work environment in an organized fashion.
Strong communication, computer, phone and analytical skills are a must. Must be able to do work that requires frequent bending, lifting, pushing, walking, and standing.
Able to work a minimum of 12-15 hours per week including FINALS week and Break week. Winter, Spring and Summer break availability highly desired. Benefits :
