As one of CareLink's Behavioral Healthcare providers, you will be a member of an interdisciplinary team who addresses the behavioral needs of older adults, those with intellectual / developmental disabilities (I / DD), and their caregivers.
You will be providing in-person, individual and group therapy sessions with occasional telehealth visits as allowed by payors and regulatory bodies.
This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus with $500 to be paid at signing and $500 to be paid after 6 months of employment.

Primary Responsibilities :
- Fulfill all job functions of a Behavioral Healthcare clinician within the clinical scope of practice
- Formulate an appropriate treatment plan that is sensitive to clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs and goals
- Administer treatment and tailor interventions as needed, including coordination and referrals
- Operate effectively within time, financial, and other resource constraints
- Communicate within a multi-disciplinary team who are committed to the patients’ well-being
- Effectively coordinate care with family members, group home and nursing home staff, medical teams, and others
- Document evaluations and treatments, record patient status and response to treatment, changes noted, patient / caregiver education, recommendations, discharge plans and other patient-centered actions taken
- Remain up-to-date with evidence-based practices and implement relevant findings in clinical work
- Advocate for the inclusion of individuals disabilities within society
- Travel between facilities required, possibility of some telehealth as allowed by payors and regulatory bodies.

Education / Experience Required :
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or other behavioral healthcare focused program.
- Fully Licensed LMHC, LCSW, CSW, or CISW in the state of Rhode Island
- Experience providing direct psychotherapy in both individual and group settings
- Knowledge of appropriate referral procedures
- Must possess a valid and current driver license and auto insurance.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the state of Rhode Island (mileage reimbursed)
- Willing to obtain or current BLS and / or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Experience in crisis intervention
- Familiar with integrated behavioral health
- Experience in working for older adults, including memory care, and / or individuals in the I / DD community
