Position : Mammography Tech

Location : Memphis, Tennessee

Schedule : Day 5x8-Hour (7 : 30 16 : 00)

Duration : 13 Week Contract

Unit : Radiology / Cardiology

As a Mammography Technologist, you will work closely with patients, providing high-quality imaging services that are essential to their health and well-being.

Your expertise in mammography, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care will ensure that each patient receives the best possible service in a supportive and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities :

• Perform high-quality mammograms, ensuring accurate positioning, compression, and image clarity in accordance with established protocols.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns to ensure comfort and compliance during exams.
• Review and evaluate images for technical quality, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal diagnostic value.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to discuss findings and ensure accurate interpretation of images.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to all safety and quality control protocols, including the use of radiation protection measures and equipment maintenance.
• Participate in breast cancer screening programs, including assisting with patient recalls and follow-up imaging as needed.
• Educate patients on the importance of regular mammograms and breast self-examinations.

Requirements :

• 2 years Mammography Tech experience with travel or 3 years’ experience with no travel
• Compact or TN License at time of submittal
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
• COVID-19 Vaccine
• Fly Vaccine
