CABINET DESIGNER CUSTOM MILLWORK

We are currently searching for an

exceptional, hands-on Cabinet Designer

to draft plans for the production of custom cabinets and millwork. To be successful in this role, you should be a strong multitasker with excellent customer service skills and a sharp eye for design and detail. A top-tier Cabinet Designer will show initiative while staying within the scope of client expectations.

Responsibilities :

Meet with clients to understand the intended function and style of each space

Develop detailed layouts and shop drawings for custom cabinetry and millwork

Suggest materials, finishes, and functional enhancements to improve design and usability

Design with consideration for water, electrical, and HVAC systems for safety and practicality

Create production-ready plans using industry-specific software

Educate clients on proper cabinet care and maintenance

Track hours and tasks to ensure accurate billing

Ensure designs adhere to building codes and safety regulations

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of experience

as a Cabinet Designer or Drafter

Proficiency in

Cabinet Vision

(REQUIRED)

Highly desired skills :

Experience with

Microvellum ,

Mozaik , and

AutoCAD

Strong portfolio of completed designs and built projects

Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Knowledge of construction standards and regional building codes

Detail-oriented, with the ability to listen to and align with client needs and budgets
