Position Overview : We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in Mission Viejo, CA.
The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students, helping them achieve their educational and developmental goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions to students with speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
