Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cath Lab Tech)

StartDate : 11 / 18 / 2024 Available Shifts : 10 D Pay Rate : $2783.68 - $3207.28

Electrophysiology Tech needed asap for 13 weeks40 hrs per week schedule, day / evenings, Monday-Friday 0630-1700 with late shift and on call responsibilitiesDo not submit traveler who have or will have expiring licenses and / orcertifications during time frame of entire assignment.

Traveler willautomatically be declinedTraveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile).

Electrophysiology or EP experience, Strong EP Ablation experience requiredTwo (2) years of Electrophysiology Technologist work experience in a dedicated Electrophysiology Laboratory Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.

Prior traveling experience highly preferred.Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass UW Health Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

UW Health Recruitment will send instructions to traveler 2-3 weeks prior to start date.Basic Life Support / CPR Certification (American Heart Association only)ACLS certification (American Heart Association only) Minimum Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) Technologist training program.

Two years of experience as an imaging technologist may be considered in lieu of training program completion.Preferred Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass UW Health Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions).

UW Health Recruitment will send instructions to traveler 2-3 weeks prior to start date.Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment / assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years).

Floating Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and / or based on the traveler's competency skills / experience.

The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and / or different locations within the organization.

During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
