Inspector / Packer - NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

C.H. Thompson is currently seeking a Production Inspector to join our team. As a Production Inspector you will play a crucial role in maintaining quality, safety, and productivity through a hands-on approach. Specifically, the role focuses on unmasking (removing protective materials) and performing touch-up paint work. Attention to Detail is a Must! Position Overview

• Unmasking : Carefully remove masking materials (such as tape, latex and plugs) from parts after painting.
• Inspection : Inspect unmasked areas for any defects or imperfections.
• Touch-Up Paint : Apply touch-up paint to correct minor defects (scratches, chips, etc.) in painted finishes. Ensure color matching and consistency.
• Quality Assurance : Inspect parts thoroughly for adherence to quality standards. Document inspection results, including any rework or corrections needed.
• Sort Parts : Organize and sort parts as per instructions, ensuring proper categorization and preparation for packing.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of inspections and tests, ensuring all data is correctly logged.
• Packaging : Pack parts securely for shipment, ensuring that packaging materials and methods meet company standards.
• Administrative Duties : Assist with various administrative tasks, such as updating inventory records, preparing shipping labels, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaboration : Coordinate and communicate with the Supervisor to address any issues found during inspection.
• Safety and Compliance : Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications :
• Education :

High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.

Relevant experience in metal finishing, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.

Attention to Detail : Keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Total Compensation Package :

$17.50+ per hour plus a 90-Day Review for a prospective increase!
