Responsibilities :
- Balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, debt, prepaids, payroll, and other accruals
- Perform detailed review of vendor bills, credit card expenses, and payments processed by staff
accountant
- Reconcile transactions in ERP
- Prepare journal entries for payroll, debt, prepaids, and other accounts as needed
- Advise management on accounting implications of certain transactions and budget
variances / trends
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting regulations, internal controls, and company
policies, and champion process improvements
Support tax and audit compliance by compiling and preparing supporting information as
requested
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline
- 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting
- General understanding of US GAAP
- Strong time management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned areas
- Proactively organized, detail oriented, and works with a high degree of accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Large ERP system experience is required NetSuite is Preferred
