Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A Manager to join our finance team. This role is critical in overseeing and tracking veterinary doctors and support staff payroll across our general practice, specialty, and equine hospitals.

The FP&A Manager will work closely with the VP of FP&A, EVP of Operations, Regional Vice Presidents, and Regional Managers to ensure accurate payroll management and financial budgeting and forecasting.

This is a newly created position and does not currently have any direct reports.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Planning & Analysis Develop and maintain financial models in support of budgeting, closing, forecasting, and long-range planning.

Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Collaboration with Field Operations Team Collaborate with the VP of FP&A, EVP of Operations, Regional Vice Presidents, and Regional Managers to align financial goals and operational strategies.

Provide financial guidance and support to field operations teams to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.Conduct regular meetings with regional teams to review financial performance, and more specifically address any payroll-related issues.

Payroll Oversight : Manage and oversee the payroll analysis process for veterinary doctors and support staff across 400+ hospitals.

Monitor payroll expenses and identify trends to optimize payroll costs.

Process Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in payroll management and financial analysis.

Utilize technology and automation tools to streamline payroll and financial reporting processes.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools.

Experience in the veterinary or healthcare industry is a plus.Experience with payroll software and financial management systems.
