As a Household Goods Logistics Planner at Lawrence Companies, you will be a key player in coordinating and optimizing residential moves for our clients.

In this role, you will leverage your logistics expertise to ensure every move is flawlessly executed from start to finish, offering our customers a seamless, stress-free experience.

Key Responsibilities : Coordinate and manage the planning, scheduling, and dispatching of household goods shipments to achieve service excellence, cost-efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Develop and maintain detailed move plans, including timelines, inventory management, and any specific customer requirements.

Collaborate with the operations team to assign moving crews and ensure appropriate equipment is available and maintained.

Strategically plan routes and optimize schedules to maximize efficiency, while maintaining fleet readiness and compliance.

Monitor every phase of the move, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and budget targets are met. Work with management to develop and refine operational strategies, focusing on efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Ensure adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Analyze operational data, track order progress, and make data-driven recommendations to enhance service delivery and revenue.

Qualifications : Preferred : Experience in logistics, transportation, or the household goods moving industry. Proven ability to manage scheduling, resource allocation, and logistical coordination.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, capable of managing customer expectations and resolving issues quickly.

Familiarity with route planning, fleet management, and dispatching systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Proficient in scheduling and logistics software (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM systems). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of moving industry regulations and safety standards is an advantage. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
