Duties of the lead assembler :
- Lead and train department employees in all assembly stations
- Ensure production schedule is met
- Assemble various machine models
- Follow established procedures
- Verify assembled machines meet quality standards
- Move machines as needed
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks
- Keep paperwork in order
Requirements of the lead assembler :
- Over one year of cross-functional assembly experience
- Read a tape measure
- independently in a fast-paced team environment
- Able to lift up to 30 - 50 lbs.
