Job Description

Job Description

Since our launch in 2013, Confiant has solidified its position as a trailblazer in cybersecurity with our first and only technology that actively blocks bad ads.

Our mission? To rid the digital world of malvertising with every bad ad we detect. Our ground-breaking technology makes it easy to identify, block, and replace the intrusive ads that threaten our clients' reputation, revenue, and resources.

We've integrated with 100+ major US publishers and ad platforms, and our seasoned security team has developed real-time monitoring systems capable of unearthing even the most sophisticated malvertiser methods.

The Role

Confiant is looking for a Senior Product Manager to support our security and AI driven products. In this position, you will be responsible for collecting market feedback, identifying new product opportunities, conceptualizing solutions, writing product requirements, and partnering cross-functionally to bring new products to market.

You'll work with every part of the organization at every level, including Confiant's senior leadership, to craft and execute the product roadmap.

This is a great opportunity for a product manager looking to join a high-paced start-up with a real social purpose : eradicating malware from online advertising and the threat actors behind them.

Responsibilities

Continuously refine the product roadmap based on customer insights, market trends, and business objectives.

  • Analyze Market Trends : Conduct market and competitive research to identify emerging trends, user needs, and new product opportunities, helping to enhance and differentiate our offerings.
  • Customer Focus : Deeply understand our customers' needs, pain points, and behaviors through qualitative and quantitative research.

Use this understanding to shape product decisions and ensure we are solving the right problems.

Product Execution : Partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver high-quality products on time.

Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from planning and development to launch and post-launch analysis. Define and prioritize product requirements, manage development backlogs, and provide design guidance through wireframes to ensure timely and successful product delivery.

Develop and execute a comprehensive launch plan, including setting timelines, managing resources, and collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure effective product rollout and adoption.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Management : Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Leadership.

Ensure alignment on product goals, timelines, and key metrics.

Measuring Product Success : Define and measure product success metrics for new features and ensure that we deliver value to our customers.

Use data to inform product decisions, track product performance, and identify areas for improvement. Continuously iterate on the product based on feedback and data-driven insights.

  • Leadership : Inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. Act as the product advocate, evangelizing and sharing your product vision and strategy.
  • Technical Acumen : Work closely with Engineering to understand the technical implications of product decisions. Ensure that product features are technically feasible and can be delivered within the desired timelines.

Requirements

  • Must be able to attend quarterly company off-sites
  • Must be available during USA business hours, especially UTC -5 mornings, with a strong preference for availability between UTC -7 to UTC -5.
  • 4+ years of experience within product management
  • 3+ years of experience in the AdTech industry and a solid understanding of the inner workings of AdTech and programmatic advertising.

Ideally with experience at an SSP, DSP, or at a vendor within the space.

  • Experience in Security, Trust and Safety, and / or Brand Safety.
  • Experience in ML / AI and classification
  • Effective communication is critical in this role. We are looking for an exceptional communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Must have skills in clearly articulating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences while balancing multiple perspectives and fostering constructive relationships with various stakeholders.

Proven track record of managing products through their full lifecycle, from conception to launch, while driving measurable business results.

You should be an expert at integrating customer feedback, prioritizing features, and collaborating closely with engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges.

  • A successful candidate will possess a strategic mindset coupled with the ability to execute rapidly, bringing products to market with a sense of urgency.

The ideal candidate thrives in a startup environment and is adept at making difficult tradeoffs.
