Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of recent skilled hospice experience and required Washington licensure.
Responsibilities
Home health setting serving adult patients in their homesDay shifts, 5x8 hours, typically 8 : 00 to 16 : 30Caseload generally includes 4–6 patients per dayNo on-call required; occasional weekend coverage may be discussed in interview1 : 1 patient visits with a standard productivity target of 27–30 points based on territoryHomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) system is required for documentationMileage reimbursed at IRS standard ratePersonal transportation required, sometimes up to a 100-mile radiusWill provide home-based OT care and responsible assessment and treatmentAll documentation tools are provided and must be returned at assignment endAttire is any color scrubsFirst-time travelers are acceptedTravel pairs are accepted but each must have their own transportation and separate territoryFormer perm employees must be separated for at least 6 months and require HR approval to return as a travelerRequested time off must be submitted at applicationFree parking is providedRequirements
Active WA OT license and NBCOT certification requiredMinimum 1 year of recent skilled hospice experience within the past 3 years in a home health settingCurrent BCLS certificationProficiency in OASIS documentation requiredExperience with HomeCare HomeBase preferredActive driver’s license and reliable transportation requiredTimely communication and documentation required for considerationCompletion of Hospice / Home Health Checklist requiredLicense required if applicableBenefits
