Omaha Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to operate a C-Arm in the procedure room. This role is responsible for providing and assisting with intra-operative radiologic / fluoroscopic procedures as directed by physicians, while also supporting nursing staff with patient care and management.
Compensation : $24-31 per hour
Schedule : Full-Time, Monday-Thursday 7 : 30 am-5 : 30 pm
Location : Omaha, NE 68114
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Perform radiologic / fluoroscopic procedures in compliance with policies, protocols, and safety standards.
- Communicate timely and accurate patient information to the Registered Nurse.
- Record and maintain patient data clearly and promptly.
- Calibrate, position, and operate equipment to ensure accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare radiopharmaceuticals / contrast agents as needed.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper sterilization, storage, and reporting of malfunctions.
- Manage supply inventory by monitoring stock, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying deliveries.
- Minimize radiation exposure using protective techniques, shielding, and proper exposure settings.
- Adhere to infection-control and drug protocols; provide first aid or use emergency equipment if required.
- Complete administrative duties, including forms, labeling, and procedure logs.
- Fulfill mandatory annual training and monitor / document lead apron integrity.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience :
Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited program (required) .Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (required) .Minimum 1 year of healthcare management experience (required) .Required Skills & Abilities :
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.Clear communication skills (with or without reasonable accommodation).Use of both hands for handling and reaching.Frequent lifting / moving up to 10 lbs; occasional lifting / moving up to 25 lbs.Ability to push up to 300 lbs.Specific vision requirements : close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Full-Time Employee Benefits :
