Staff Accountant ($70,000 / yr + bonus + hybrid)

Responsibilities :
- Assist in processing accounting functions such as generalledger / financial reporting, lease administration, and treasury management
- Review leases, amendments, and license agreements and ensure accuracyof lease data entered in Yardi
- Handle accounts payable invoice processing, scheduling, and research,including new vendor setup
- Conduct lease abstracting and track critical dates and obligationsfrom lease execution through expiration
- Assist with financial statement workpaper preparation, monthly andquarterly reporting packages, and annual audit and tax returns packages
- Support implementation of system automation projects and provideadministrative assistance with group deadlines and process completion
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-2 years of real estate accounting experience
- Proficiency in Yardi or equivalent software, paperless AP systemspreferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonalcommunication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently or aspart of a team
- High attention to detail and ability to decipher information withincommercial real estate leases
