About the Position

Position / Specialty : Nursery RN 12 Weeks

Shift : Will accept 3x12s or 4x12s-6 : 45p-7 : 15a, Holiday rotation,

Ratios : 1 : 3

Weekend REQ : Every other weekend as needed

Is on-call REQ? (Y / N) : Yes, 2 on-call shifts every 6 weeks for those working 3x12s

Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs / float between like units / sister facilities? Yes, floating is required to sister units.

As the nursery RN, they will be expected to catch and transition babies in L&D within the 1st 2-3 hours of life. Will also be expected to float to Mom-Baby where they could take a newborn assignment.

Years of experience REQ : 2+ years-Experience with routine newborn care, ability to attend deliveries and resuscitate infants at delivery.

Ability to transition infants after delivery

Years of experience Preferred : 2 + years’ experience with level 2 babies (premature deliveries, 32 weeks and above)

First-timers accepted : NO

License REQ : SC or Multi State / Compact RN license

Certs REQ (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA)) : BLS, NRP

Certs Preferred : STABLE

Experience Required : Level 2 Nursery. Needs to have experience in resuscitate newborn at delivery and stabilize premature newborn for transfer to higher level of care.

Experience Preferred : Mother-Baby

Local Radius : 60 miles

Locals Accepted : Yes, locals will be considered at 10% less than the posted rate

RTO Restrictions for Client Offers : All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs

Guaranteed Hours : Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
