About The Position
Great CA Psychiatry opportunity for Supplemental coverage
from 10 / 4 - 2 / 7 / 25.
Inpatient, Psychiatry coverage
Acute Psychiatric Unit
Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Shift : Mon. - Fri., 8a-4 : 00p; no overnight call
Call : 1 weekend call / mo., 4p-8a; Rounding only
Weekend call is on-site, both Sat. & Sun.
Call Response : 30 min.
Rounding on Assigned pts.
PPS : up to 14 / day; up to 17 / weekend day
Admissions : 2-3 / shift
7 : 1 Ratio Follow-ups - Evaluations; time allotted
Locums will do the Psych admissions and the Hospitalist will
complete the medical H&P.
67 Bed Dept.
Support Staff : RNs, CSTs, Social Worker, Hospitalist, Activity
Therapist, Lab, Radiology
Multi-specialty support.
Trauma Level I Facility
Pt. Age : Adult & Geriatric
Office Staff : 2
EMR : Cerner
Expenses covered, weekly pay and Occurrence Form
Malpractice insurance provided.
