PARTS COUNTER SALES ASSOCIATE

Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Tuscon is actively hiring for our growing Parts Department. We are hiring for Sales members for our Parts Department to help support our busy Service and Sales teams.

Primary Responsibilities :

• The Parts Counter Salesperson is expected to :
• Protect the legal, financial and moral wellbeing of the Larry H. Miller Dealerships'.
• Achieve sales and gross profit goals to develop business while sustaining customer satisfaction standards.
• Seek ways to improve business operation efficiencies and customer service.
• Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful.

Maximize Production, Customer Service and Profitability.

• Effectively communicate with clientele to ensure objective, customer needs and sales opportunities meet company standards.
• Effectively communicate with clientele regarding invoices and payments.
• Accurately review invoices for proper completion and calculations.
• Maintain general knowledge of warranty and return procedures.
• Complete and maintain all Larry H. Miller Dealerships' required training.
• Complete and maintain all specific Factory related training.
• Effectively communicate with clientele regarding invoices and payments
• Display seasonal parts and accessories to achieve maximum marketing exposure.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and adhere to all OSHA / EPA requirements.
• Maintain employee, customer and vendor confidence while protecting operations by exercising discretion when handling sensitive confidential information.
• Maintain ability to handle job stress and effective interaction with others in the workplace.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and carry stock up and down stairs
• Check in stock, special orders, and effectively put away inventory per guidelines.
• Answer phones, help walk in customers and fill internet orders as well as ship parts.
• Perform all other job duties as requested by management.

Qualifications :

• Must be 18 years of age or older to qualify for this position.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• 1+ years' experience in an automotive Parts Department
• 1+ years' sales experience preferred.
• Be physically able to lift and carry 50lbs up and down stairs.
• Maintain valid driver's license and MVR record within company policy requirements.
• Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others.
• Maintain composure within the workplace as well as outside the workplace when interacting or representing the Larry H. Miller Dealerships'.
• Set an example of positive attitude and professionalism, including a neat, orderly and safe work environment
