Construction Superintendent

Experience : 5+ years serving as a Superintendent on commercial construction sites (K-12)
Primary Responsibilities :
- Ultimate responsibility of construction
- Expert knowledge of assigned plans and specs
- Participate in assigned project’s pre-construction phase, advising on all constructability issues
- Host mandatory preconstruction meetings with every sub prior to the start date
- Monitor project’s quality control
- Understand, implement & uphold procedures and processes
- Maintain and update Project Schedule
- Prepare updated schedule to present at every sub meeting
- Create and develop short term construction schedule
- Properly document project and Sub-Contractor performance
- Monitor and ensure delivery of project materials
- Maintain a clean / presentable construction trailer and job-site
- Follow and enforce all safety guidelines to ensure a safe jobsite
- Ensure that all punch list and procedures are followed (sub, architect, owner and MEP punch lists)
- Key Relationship-holder with District & Architect
- Other duties as assigned
