Litigation Legal Secretary - San Diego
One of San Diego's oldest and most prestigious law firms is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join their team.
This is a full-time, in-office position. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Job Responsibilities :
- Scheduling : Manage consultations, appointments, and depositions, and maintain and update attorney calendars.
- Communication : Handle routine telephone calls with clients, opposing counsel, court clerks, and court reporters.
- Document Management : Open, stamp, scan, image, upload, route, and file all incoming and outgoing mail. Prepare pleadings for court filing (State and Federal) and electronically file / serve documents.
- Preparation : Create exhibit and hearing / trial binders for attorneys. Draft client correspondence and perform administrative tasks, including scanning documents, maintaining electronic and physical files, and scheduling conference rooms.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum of three years of litigation legal secretary experience.
- Skills : Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Word and experienced with Forms Work Flow, CompuLaw, and iManage.
- Communication : Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Professionalism : Strong sense of discretion, professional appearance, and ability to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.
- Education : Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
