The San Francisco Film School is looking for passionate and seasoned instructors to join our vibrant faculty in the following areas :
- SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
- PRODUCTION DESIGN
- PRODUCING / DIRECTING
- EDITING
- CINEMATOGRAPHY
- AUDIO
- WRITING
You MUST have a bachelor's degree in filmmaking (or similar) and at least three (3) years of professional experience in your field .
A reel of top-quality work is essential.
We are building a pool of eligible faculty members on an ongoing basis. Teachers must be able to commit to at least 6 hours of teaching per week.
Both local and remote positions are needed.

Responsibilities :
Faculty members are expected to :
- Work with the school's Director of Education to design curricula for each class
- Cultivate student engagement
- Create a supportive environment for students and encourage them to do their best work
- Perform all duties related to their teaching in a timely and professional manner
- Attend faculty meetings
- Coordinate with school administration on student attendance and grading
Qualifications :
Qualifications (examples) :
Social Media Content Instructor
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience creating content for social media platforms
- Bachelor's degree in design, media, film, or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms (specifically Instagram and Facebook)
- Teaching experience preferred, but not necessary
Production Design Instructor
- Minimum of five years of professional experience working as an Art Director or Production Designer
- Bachelor's degree in film or a related field
- Teaching experience preferred, but not necessary
Producing / Directing Instructor
- Minimum of five years of professional experience working as a producer in film, TV, commercials, or music videos
- Bachelor's degree in film or a related field
- MUST have experience working in Movie Magic Budgeting and Scheduling
- Teaching experience preferred, but not necessary
