As the Lead Engineer of our hedge accounting platform, you will be leading a dynamic team of software engineers and testers, working on the advancements of our unique proprietary software, ChathamDirect.

In this role you will be responsible for building out new SaaS Products from the ground up, and modernizing our best-in-class hedge accounting system that supports over 1,200 clients globally.

The product enables our clients to effortlessly account for their derivative portfolio using the most sophisticated and robust methodologies in the industry, while quickly closing their financial statements in accordance with both U.

S. and international hedge accounting standards.

In This Role You Will

  • Manage a team of software engineers and testers to oversee technical delivery of our hedge accounting platform roadmap.
  • Coach team members and conduct yearly reviews.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Build out and maintain a technical roadmap to modernize legacy parts of our platform.
  • Partner closely with product managers and business stakeholders to define domains and architecture.
  • Design and develop our hedge accounting platform using .NET to build scalable and reliable applications.
  • Ensure that code follows best practices for scalability, fault tolerance, and resilience, allowing applications to handle high traffic and maintain high availability.
  • Design and implement data persistence strategies, including selecting appropriate databases and implementing data models and access layers.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track the performance, health, and security of the platform, allowing for efficient debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing and integration testing, to ensure the stability and reliability of the platform.

  • You will help to foster an inclusive culture where technical excellence, delivery, and collaboration is encouraged.

Contributors To Your Success

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience developing .NET applications in an agile scrum environment.
  • Strong experience in system architecture, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
  • Experience with managing software engineers and testers.
  • Experience using .NET Core.
  • Experience with unit testing, Test-Driven Development, and mocking frameworks.
  • Understanding of continuous delivery principles and processes.
  • Understanding of REST principles, Service-oriented architecture, and API development.
