Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Join our innovative teletherapy platform as a certified speech language pathologist, delivering high-quality munication and language services to students in dynamic virtual classrooms. We're seeking a passionate SLP who thrives in remote environments and is dedicated to helping students overe munication challenges and achieve their academic potential.

Position Overview

Provide prehensive speech and language therapy services for a caseload of 45-55 students weekly, working 37 hours in our collaborative virtual education setting. You'll serve students across elementary through high school grade levels, addressing articulation disorders, language delays, fluency concerns, and social munication difficulties through engaging online therapy sessions.

Direct Therapy Services

  • Conduct individual and small group therapy sessions addressing articulation and phonological disorders
  • Provide language intervention for students with receptive and expressive language delays
  • Support students with fluency disorders including stuttering through evidence-based techniques
  • Deliver social munication therapy for students with autism spectrum disorders
  • Address voice and resonance disorders through virtual therapy adaptations
  • Provide augmentative and alternative munication (AAC) device training and support
  • Implement literacy support services for students with language-based reading difficulties

Assessment and IEP Management

  • plete prehensive speech and language evaluations for initial and re-evaluation purposes
  • Administer standardized assessments using virtual testing protocols and adaptations
  • Write detailed evaluation reports with diagnostic impressions and remendations
  • Develop measurable IEP goals addressing munication needs across educational settings
  • Participate in IEP team meetings presenting evaluation findings and progress updates
  • Collect ongoing progress monitoring data to inform instructional decisions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on prehensive student support planning
  • Virtual Service Delivery Excellence

  • Utilize interactive digital tools and therapy materials for engaging online sessions
  • Adapt traditional therapy techniques for optimal effectiveness in virtual environments
  • Create visual supports and digital resources enhancing student learning and participation
  • Maintain student engagement through creative use of technology and gamification
  • Coordinate with teachers to support munication goals within classroom instruction
  • Provide consultation on classroom acmodations supporting munication needs
  • Train parents and caregivers on home practice activities reinforcing therapy goals
  • Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited program
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years of school-based speech therapy experience
  • Strong knowledge of munication disorders affecting school-age populations
  • Experience with virtual therapy platforms and teletherapy best practices
  • Excellent munication skills for collaborating with students, families, and educators
  • Proficiency with technology and digital therapy resources
  • Essential petencies

  • Understanding of language development and disorder identification across age ranges
  • Knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies for diverse munication disorders
  • Cultural petency in assessing and treating multilingual learners
  • Strong organizational skills for managing caseload and documentation requirements
