Electrician

No experience required, employer will train. *PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Helps in securing, relocating and organizing materials, small tools, and equipment from and back to appropriate storage areas.

Keeps work area clean by collecting and disposing of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.Keeps materials and tools clean and organized in an orderly fashion.

Assists in pulling wire, lifting, hoisting and positioning materials.May operate less complicated hand tools and equipment under direct supervision of a Foreman or more senior electrician.

Digs trenches by use of hand tools.Assists in mounting and strapping.May assist more senior personnel in less complicated electrical installations under close supervision.

Performs other project related duties and assignments as instructed by supervisor.Meets attendance standards and complies with late / absence notification procedures.

Layout work and preps materials for installationsTroubleshoots and resolves problems in electrical circuits, systems and equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand;

walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.This job operates in a client project environment with exposure to employee, subcontractors and trades.

Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment.Ability to comprehend forms in space and understand relationships of plane and solid objects.

May be used in such tasks as blueprint reading and in solving geometry problems. Frequently described as the ability to visualize objects of two and three dimensions, or to think visually of geometric forms.

Ability to manipulate materials and / or equipment up to 50 lbs. The frequency of manipulation if frequently.Ability to move up or mount by using the hands or feet to include : Ladders - Step stool, 8' to 10' ladder, extension ladderStairways - 3 or more flightsTo bend forward or down from the middle of the waist or the middle of the back, to bend, downwards, to lower oneself and / or to move freely on hands and knees between 20-50 times daily.
