Senior Software Engineering Manager - (M5)

We are seeking a hands-on leader to join our team as a Senior Software Engineering Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for building and leading a talented team of engineers, planning and executing software development projects, and delivering software releases for both internal and external customers.

You will navigate a dynamic work environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams and global counterparts to ensure the effective delivery of solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust software solutions for semiconductor equipment.
  • Work closely with systems and hardware engineers to integrate software solutions with hardware components.
  • Deliver high-quality software releases on time for internal and external customers.
  • Interface with internal and external customers for requirement analysis, project scheduling, and software troubleshooting.
  • Develop and grow the engineering skills within the team.
  • Manage the team’s activities within an Agile / Scrum environment.
  • Own and drive software design, feature development, verification, and release of solutions to customers.
  • Address critical issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams by building productive relationships.

Qualifications :

  • Hands-on experience in developing software that interfaces with hardware.
  • Demonstrated experience in hiring, managing, growing, structuring, and leading software engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to execute roadmap commitments.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and global counterparts.
  • Experience in hands-on software development in C / C++ / C# / Java / Python, with architectural leadership role.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, passionate, proactive, and willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or similar fields with 15+ years of experience and 5+ years of experience in the Semiconductor equipment industry.

Travel : Yes, 10% of the Time

Relocation Eligible : Yes

U.S. Salary Range : $204,000.00 - $280,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.

In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
