Software Engineer

Pay rate : $65- $70. per hour
The Software Engineer will work on a Balanced Product Team and collaborate with the Product Manager, Product Designer, and other Software Engineers to deliver analytic solutions.
The Software Engineer will be responsible for the development and ongoing support / maintenance of the analytical solutions.
Skills Required :
- 5-6+ years of experience with :
- Java (Spring Boot)
- JavaScript
- AngularJS
- Karma
- Modern databases (Relational and non-relational) SQL Server, Teradata and BigData.
- Continuous integration / continuous delivery tools and pipelines, such as : (Jenkins, Terraform, SonarQube, Gradle, GitHub)
- 3-4+ years of experience developing and deploying to cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Spring / SpringBoot and RESTFUL Web services development
Familiar with eXtreme Programming (XP) practices including Pair / Mob programming and Test-first / Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience with Hadoop / Hive / Spark
- Experience with machine learning, mathematical modeling and data analysis is a plus
Education Required :
Bachelor’s or Masters degree in computer science, computer engineering or a combination of
education and equivalent experience.
Key responsibilities
- Works in small, multi-functional teams. The position will interact directly and continuously with business partners, Software engineers, Technical Anchors, and designers, and will release early and often.
- Focused on building Several products and platforms across various skill teams within GDIA.
- Product And Requirements Management : Participate in and / or lead the development of requirements, features, user stories, use cases, and test cases.
Participate in stand-up operations meetings.
- Author : Process and Design Documents
- Design / Develop / Test / Deploy : Work with the Business Customer, Product Owner, Architects, Product Designer, Software Engineers, and Security Controls Champion on solution design, development, and deployment.
- Operations : Generate Metrics, Perform User Access Authorization, Password Maintenance, and Build Deployment Pipelines.
- Incident, Problem, And Change / Service Requests : Participate and lead incident, problem, change, and service request-related activities.
Includes root cause analysis (RCA). Includes proactive problem management / defect prevention activities.
