Job Overview :
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in treating communication disorders for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with speech and language screenings.
- Follow treatment plans designed by the SLP.
- Provide therapy to individuals and groups.
- Track and document patient progress.
- Educate patients and families on exercises and strategies.
- Prepare materials and equipment for therapy sessions.
- Maintain patient records.
- Attend team meetings and training.
Qualifications :
- Associates degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
- State licensure or certification as an SLPA.
- Experience with communication disorders preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player.
- Organized and timely.
- Compassionate and patient-focused.
